A Lasercut Type Artist Book

I've recently completed an ABC laser-cut book featuring my latest typeface, Djabal Tarik, inspired by the Moorish knights, valiant Black Knights, a subset of the Moorish knights renowned for their bravery and resilience against Spanish conquest. This inclusion adds another layer of depth to the narrative, highlighting the often-overlooked contributions of marginalized voices in history. This project aims to shed light on these overlooked narratives and challenge the dominant historical discourse. Central to my artistic vision is exploring how typography can convey multifaceted narratives and provoke critical discourse.
